The twin linebackers were standout players for Male last season, bringing intensity and hard hits against the opponents at every opportunity. Their aggressive nature stands out on the field and has caught the attention of a handful of schools.
Tennessee State recently hosted the Malones and they talked about their trip to the Nashville campus.
"Tennessee State went great," said Mike. "It really felt like a good fit. The coaches that I met were real cool," he continued.
Malik echoed his brother's comments.
"The visit went great. I had a good talk with the defensive backs coach. He's real cool. They are giving us free passes to all the home games," Malik continued.
Most schools have worked hard to improve their campus and their athletic facilities. Tennessee State's campus and facilities were among the high points for Malik.
"The size of the campus caught me by surprise. It's a nice campus. And I liked the indoor practice field," he said.
Mike had similar feelings about the campus's ambiance.
"What stood out for me was the indoor facilities and the fact that the campus wasn't too little or too big," he said.
The Malones have also recently gotten some invitations to visit other schools for spring practices and spring games.
FOX Sports Next will keep you posted on Mike and Malik Malone.
