Over the past few weeks, 6-foot-6, 210 pound junior Sam Hubbard has picked up offers from Boston College, Illinois and Ohio. The linebacker now has his first Big East offer in the bag.
"Louisville offered me today," said Hubbard Friday afternoon. "I had been receiving some mail from them, but the offer was really a surprise. I don't know too much about them, but I am giving Coach Watson a call tonight to speak with him about the university."
Hubbard hasn't visited Louisville before, but hopes to get there this summer.
Now with his fourth offer, the linebacker is truly enjoying the recruitment process.
"It's an incredible experience, and I'm very thankful to have so many great opportunities for my future."
Hubbard is currently committed to play lacrosse at Notre Dame.
