Jackson plays spectator

2014 Gardena (Calif.) Serra defensive back Adoree Jackson was unable to participate in the Nike Football Training Camp on Sunday in Los Angeles. However, the five-star recruit did take a few minutes to talk with FOX Sports NEXT about his recruitment.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — The West's top prospect wasn't on display on Sunday at the Southern California Nike Football Training Camp. 2014 five-star cornerback Adoree Jackson was unable to participate due to an injury suffered playing basketball.

The Gardena (Calif.) Serra product said he'd be taking the boot he was wearing off Monday and will soon be back to action.

Jackson, 5-foot-10 170-pounds, has twenty offers -- but named a few standouts. "USC, UCLA, Michigan, Notre Dame, LSU, Florida, Texas A&M, and Miami," he said. "They have great tradition at their schools."

They have all also offered for him to play on both sides of the ball as a defensive back and receiver.

Jackson says he has tentatively planned an unofficial trip to the state of Florida to check out the Gators and Miami. He is also planning to visit Texas A&M, LSU, and schools in the Midwest soon.
