Florida WR would 'fit in well' at Louisville

Once again the University of Louisville football team is in the mix for a bunch of top prospects from the state of Florida. One of those targets is a three-star wide receiver with more than a half-dozen BCS offers.

Winter Haven, Fla., three-star wide receiver Kendrick Holland is trying to build a relationship with the schools that have already extended a scholarship offer.

And one of those for the 6-foot-4, 185-pound Holland is Louisville.

Holland recently picked up a U of L offer to go along with ones from Kentucky, Clemson, South Florida, Virginia Tech and Rutgers.

"I think Louisville would be a great school to go to," Holland said. "They have an amazing football program. I am just trying to learn all I can about the schools."

Holland is a speedy athlete who can stretch the field. As a junior, Holland had 52 catches for 850 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had two TDs off punt returns and two more off interceptions while playing defense.

While he already has plans to visit Central Florida and South Florida in the coming weeks, Holland said he also hopes to get to U of L soon.

"I think I would fit in well there," he said.
