"It's just starting to pick up, so I'm really enjoying it," he said.
"I've been waiting on this my whole life, waiting for my chance since I was a little boy."
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound defensive end said when he talks to coaches, he gets good feedback about his game and his potential.
"(Coaches like) my length, I'm long, and they like my athleticism," he said.
While Rhaheed said has no leaders right now, there are a few offers on his list he's eager to explore.
"I like Louisville, Penn State, LSU, and Ole Miss," he said.
"They're big schools, they have good tradition and I like their location."
The Fort Piece Central (Fort Pierce, FL) lineman hopes to see those programs this summer. LSU and Louisville are at the top of his visit wish-list.
"LSU, they use a lot of concepts and they put their pass-rushers on the field," Rhaheed said.
"(Louisville), I love the school, I love the scheme too, how they use a lot of pass-rushing defensive ends."
Rhaheed is excited to get out and see some schools this summer and he knows what he'll be looking for as he evaluates his choices.
"A place where I feel at home and comfortable, and a family environment," he said.
