Johnson has double-digits

Mike Johnson has ten offers on his growing offer list, and while he's clear he's not naming favorites right now, there are a couple of programs he's building a deeper comfort-level with. The 2014 cornerback doesn't plan on making a decision soon, but said it will happen when he "feels right." When he gets that feeling is anybody's guess.

Mike Johnson has ten offers including Florida State, Louisville, South Florida, Vanderbilt, Iowa State, Cincinnati, and Purdue. "I don't have a favorite yet," he said.

The Countryside (Clearwater, FL) standout admits he grew up a fan of all three in-state programs – Florida State, Florida, and Miami. He holds an offer from the Seminoles now and said it's a program that's high on his list.

"I love it," Johnson said.

"I think I could fit very well. They had a true freshman starting last year, I like that a lot. That means anybody can compete and get a job."

Louisville is another program high on Johnson's list. He had a great time visiting earlier this year for junior day, and he continues to talk to coaches almost every day.

"I like their coaching staff," he said.

"They're like big brothers to me, like father figures, I love them."

The 5-foot-11, 183-pound corner said he's looking for a place he can see himself living for the next four years, and he'll commit to a school when it feels right. Next on his list of visits is Florida, and he hopes to check out Gainesville in the next week or so.

"(I want to see) how it looks, talk to the coaches, and see how I feel around the school," Johnson said.

Miami is the other program on the upcoming visit list for Johnson and he hopes to check it out this summer. Stay tuned to FOX Sports NEXT for the latest on Mike Johnson and his recruitment.
