Orr Visits Hattiesburg For Junior Day

Southern Miss had a huge group of visitors on campus Saturday for junior day Saturday. Itawamba junior Ethan Orr was one who made the trip down to Hattiesburg, and here is his reaction to the time on campus.

Ethan Orr is a name quickly rising in recruiting in the state of Mississippi. The junior has been seeing early interest from Southern Miss, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Louisiana Lafayette.

The 6'6 offensive lineman said he really enjoyed his time on campus Saturday for junior day.

"I really enjoyed it, I left very impressed with the direction of the program," he said in an interview with GoldenEaglePride.com.

"I was impressed with the coaches, the facilities, the tradition, and the weight room. I really liked the individual attention they gave the players, especially in the weight room."

Orr said he did get some time with Coach Perot who talked about what the staff thought of him.

"Coach Perot pulled me to the side and told me that he was going to be watching me this year," he said. "He said the staff likes my size and told me to keep working out and getting bigger."

Orr will be making some other trips over the next few weeks, but said the most important thing is getting faster and stronger and hitting the weight room hard.

"There is always room for me to improve," he said. "I hope to just continue to get better and get those offers in this summer."
