Street down to seven

Over the past few months, Kentavius Street has over picked up numerous scholarship offers from across the country. Now, the Greenville (N.C.) Rose start is down to seven schools.

Over the past few months, Kentavius Street has been one of the hottest prospects in the country.

After receiving scholarship offers from numerous big-time college football programs, he has narrowed his list of schools to seven.

"I'm down to seven schools – Florida State, UGA, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, UNC, Alabama and Ole Miss," he said. "UGA is my leader and Florida State is second."

All the above schools have offered the four-star defensive end except Alabama and Ole Miss, but Street said he thinks those two could be close to pulling the trigger.

Street has some will take some visits in the coming months.

"I'll be going up to Virginia Tech on April 13," said the 6-foot-4, 265-pound Street. "That's the only thing I have lined up right now. But this summer, I'm going to visit Florida State, UGA, Ole Miss and probably Alabama."

The nation's 40th-ranked prospect is in no hurry to make a decision.

"I think I'm going announce my decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl or on Signing Day," he said.

Last season, 93 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, two blocked punts, two blocked field goals, and one defensive touchdown.
