NUC: La'Allan Clark

Clark has put together a solid high school career, but this fall he will be lining up with a different team in new school colors. After spending most of his prep career at Scotlandville, the talented Clark will be at Central High School.

"It's been good so far," said Clark of the transfer. "We've been getting our work in.

"We're lifting weights and getting ready for the season."

Clark will have to line up across from friends and former teammates when his new school takes on Scotlandville this fall.

"It's been a little tough," said Clark. "We were district rivals and now I am going to that school now.

"I am looking forward to that game to come now, so I can go against my friends at Scotlandville."

Clark is optimistic about the season. He believes CHS has the pieces in place to be very competitive.

"I feel like we have some really good players on offense and defense," said Clark. "We have a good quarterback who transferred from McKinley and he is supposed to be pretty good."

Several schools have already reached out to Clark to express their early interest.

"I have an offer from Texas Southern already," said Clark. "I know Louisiana Tech, UL (Louisiana) and Tulane are coming to our practices.

"There's a lot of schools sending mail, so I am hoping I end up getting some more offers before the season is over."
