"They stay in touch with me as much as possible," he said.
"I like Louisville because it's a good school. A lot of people at my school are connected with the school and they're going up there and stuff like that."
"Rutgers they keep in contact with me, they have a nice school I've heard. They're big on academics. They play good football as far as I'm concerned and I definitely want to go visit."
Preston hasn't visited Louisville or Rutgers yet, but he did see USF for junior day earlier this year and that's when he picked up an offer.
"South Florida is great, they have a great school, great facilities, and it's very nice and very put together. I like that it's close to home," Preston said.
He plans on visiting all three of those schools this summer along with some other Florida schools like UF, Florida State, and Miami. Preston doesn't expect to make his decision until after he's taken some official visits this fall.
"I'm looking for a school that's a great fit for me, that I have nothing bad to say about living there for the next four or five years of my life. I'm not in any rush. I'm not going to make it official until I find the right one," he said.
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound athlete is eager to continue honing his skills, and he knows he'll have a lot to offer a program at the next level.
"I pride myself on proper technique and my skill set," he said.
"(Coaches) like my length, athleticism, and stuff like that. I know I'm not the fastest, but I can get there."
