Hitting the road

Spring football is in full effect and several of the top prospects in the Mid-Atlantic will be on the road over the next few days. Find out where below.

Five-star Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith defensive lineman Andrew Brown will head South Thursday night and will visit Florida State on Friday morning, Florida that afternoon, Alabama on Saturday and South Carolina on Sunday.

Five-star Woodbridge (Va.) defensive end Da'Shawn Hand will visit South Carolina this weekend.

Four-star Durham (N.C.) Hillside teammates wide receiver Trevion Thompson and running back Donte Williams will visit West Virginia tomorrow and Ohio State on Saturday.

Four-star Burke (Va.) Lake Braddock quarterback Caleb Henderson is visiting Boston College today. He will also take trips to Ohio State, North Carolina and Tennessee in the near future.

Four-star Greenville (N.C.) Rose defensive end Kentavius Street will not visit anywhere this week, but will be at Virginia Tech on April 13.

Charlotte (N.C.) Christian four-star tight end Jeb Blazevich will be at Ole Miss this weekend.

Burlington (N.C.) Cummings offensive tackle Will Richardson is at Florida State today.

Charlotte (N.C.) West Mecklenburg quarterback Jalan McClendon will be at Florida State on Saturday and teammate and running back Shaun Wilson will be at Louisville on the same day.

Four-star Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor defensive end Jalyn Holmes, three-star Summerville (S.C.) cornerback Darin Smalls and three-star Hope Mills (N.C.) Gray's Creek safety Jefferie Gibson will be at Virginia Tech on Saturday. Joining them will be three big-time 2015 prospects – Wake Forest Rolesville (N.C.) running back Bryce Love – and teammates from Richmond (Va.) St. Christopher's– cornerback Garrett Taylor and linebacker Ricky DeBerry. Suffolk (Va.) Lakeland linebacker Jaquan Yulee, arguably the top 2016 prospect in Virginia, will also be at Virginia Tech.

Four-star Fayetteville (N.C.) Pine Forest defensive tackle Lamont Gaillard will be in Gainesville this weekend visiting Florida.

Three-star Hampton (Va.) Bethel defensive tackle Ricky Walker will visit Old Dominion tomorrow.

Three-star Durham (N.C.) Hillside safety Kalen McCain will visit Louisville tomorrow and Virginia Tech on Saturday.

Virginia commits – five-star Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside safety Quin Blanding and four-star Fredericksburg (Va.) Chancellor offensive tackle Steven Moss – will be in Charlottesville on Saturday for the Cavilers' spring game. They will be joined by a pair of four-star prospects – Virginia Beach (Va.) Ocean Lakes defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi and T.C. Williams defensive tackle Jeremiah Clarke. Clarke is also visiting N.C. State today.

Three-star Chesapeake (Va.) Grassfield running back Vincent Lowe will visit James Madison on Saturday.

Virginia Beach (Va.) Tallwood safety Christian Byrum will be at Rutgers on Saturday.

Three-star Winston Salem (N.C.) Parkland defensive tackle Deshaywn Middleton will visit North Carolina on Friday and Appalachian State on Saturday.

Three-star Woodruff (S.C.) wide receiver Blake Bone will visit Ole Miss this weekend.

Southern Durham (N.C.) wide receiver Maurice Trowell is visiting N.C. State today and East Carolina on Saturday.

Hertford County (N.C.) defensive end Oshane Ximines will visit Old Dominion on Saturday.
