Could Fisher make an early decision?

Compton (Calif.) Centennial defensive back Denzel Fisher was at UCLA over the weekend for the Bruins scrimmage and said he's hopeful of picking up an offer later in the summer.

Denzel Fisher is one of the most intriguing corner prospects in the state. He has great size and length and has shown at numerous events that he has the quickness to run and close as well.

San Diego State surprisingly remains the lone offer for Fisher but he's starting to hear from a few more programs and was at UCLA over the weekend.

"UCLA was a great visit," Fisher said. "The coaches really showed me a lot of love. I had a great talk with Coach Mora and it sounds like they're very interested in me. He said they really like my height a lot and he talked with my dad for a while too.

"I was able to sit down with Coach Martin, the DB coach and watch some film. This was my first time on the UCLA campus and I really liked it a lot. I didn't do the whole campus tour, just saw the football fields and locker room. I'm going to camp with them June 21 and the coaches told me if I do my thing out there, I'll be getting an offer and that's what I plan to do."

Fisher said he also plans to camp with USC and is hearing from a few other programs.

"I'm not hearing from USC right now but I still want to camp there," Fisher said. "That's a school I've liked since I was little so I want to go out there and see what I can do. I've also been talking with Fresno State, San Jose State and Arizona State. My top three right now would be UCLA, Oregon and ASU.

"I want to do some visits but if UCLA were to offer, I would have to think pretty hard about jumping on it. It's a great school and they would be tough to beat but I'm going to see how everything plays out and just keep trying to get better."
