Robert Jones is preparing for the NFTC and the Elite 11 this weekend in hopes of catching the eyes of more schools. But after visiting with the Louisville Cardinals, he feels like he's in good position to be recruited by the hometown school.
"The visit was good," said Jones. "I got to see the team work hard and watch the quarterbacks and learn different things."
Jones believes that Louisville is going to turn up the heat on his recruitment a little, going forward.
"Recruiting wise, they like me. Coach Bedford is going to come by my school in May to watch me throw before they offer. They are taking two quarterbacks in this class because of injuries to Kyle (Bolin) and Will (Gardner)," Jones continued.
Jones will also have an opportunity to show the coaches at Louisville what he is able to do in an instructional setting.
"Coach Watson wants me to come to their elite quarterback camp in June," Jones finished.
FOX Sports Next will keep you posted on Robert Jones.
