Scout.com: Dallas Elite 11

Scout.com picks its 'Elite 11' selections from the regional camp stop in the Dallas area...

David Blough, Carrollton (Texas) Creekview

One of the true surprises of the whole weekend, Blough, a gritty competitor, proved that he belongs on the big stage and playing for a BCS school.

Darrell Colbert Jr., Houston (Texas) Lamar

Colbert is not the tallest quarterback on the field when he steps on it, but he is one f the most competitive and savvy. A top five coaches selection.

David Cornwell, Norman (Okla.) North

Has a big arm and had no problem spinning the ball through the wind. Earned invite to compete at the Elite 11 and The Opening.

Quentin Gibson, Marrero (La.) Archbishop Shaw

One of the weekend's bright spots and throughout two days of competition he was probably the most all around consistent performer. Calm with a good arm.

Brandon Harris, Bossier City (La.) Parkway

This kid has all of the tools. He has a cannon for an arm and is extremely athletic. Once he finds more consistency he will be one of the best.

Jerrod Heard, Denton (Texas) Guyer

Throws well on the run and was starting to heat up and get in a real grove by the time the camp day was getting done.

Jarrett Hildreth, League City (Texas) Clear Creek

Hildreth has pop in his arm and is very consistent. He is solid in all facets of the game. His recruitment could pick up as coaches come and see him in the spring.

Rafe Peavey, Bolivar (Mo.)

Had some of the best footwork and techniques of all quarterbacks in attendance. He has a quick release and gets the ball out in a hurry. Took home a Gold Jersey for accuracy.

Foster Sawyer, Fort Worth (Texas) All Saints

Had one of the camp's best arms and despite dealing with a turf toe showed why he is so highly recruited.

Aaron Sharp, Summer Creek (Texas)

A wiry and crafty lefty. He is not completely developed from a ‘weight room' standpoint, but throw an accurate and catchable ball.

Destri White, Mesquite (Texas) Horn

A great athlete he came in to the camp as one of the more impressive looking specimens, and showed that he has the arm to be considered as a QB recruit and not an ATH.

National Director Scott Kennedy contributed to this report.
