Atlanta NFTC: Recruiting Notes

Who leads for five-star defensive lineman Gerald Willis out of Louisiana? Find out that and much more here in the Atlanta Nike Football Training Camp recruiting notes...

Around 200 football players took part in the Atlanta Nike Football Training Camp Saturday and Scout caught up with a few for quick recruiting updates.

  • Nick Chubb | 2014 RB | Cedartown (Ga.)
"I will be committing the end of April or the first of May. I am just about ready to end the recruiting process. Auburn, Georgia, and Florida are at the top. I will be visiting Auburn next weekend. I think it will be one of those three schools for me."

  • Lorenzo Carter | 2014 DE | Norcross (Ga.)
"There is nothing new for me. I will start to focus on things in the summer. I did have a good visit to Alabama and they are recruiting me hard. Florida State Georgia, and some others are recruiting me hard too. I do not have any favorites right now."

  • Jeb Blazevich | 2014 TE | Charlotte Christian (N.C.)
"I think I am a week or two away from making a decision. I visited Alabama Saturday and it was a great visit. How can it not be to a school like that? They are a machine. I have visited Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Notre Dame recently and I am just about ready to pick one of them or Ohio State. I have been to Ohio State, so I know a lot about them too. I am getting real close to making my decision."

  • Stanley Williams | 2014 RB | George Walton (Ga.)
"I have de-committed to Georgia and I am now back open again. I am looking at things all over again. Schools like Kentucky, Vanderbilt, and Missouri are coming hard after me. I was just offered by Wisconsin Friday too, so I will see about them. I am visiting Clemson Saturday too. I am just looking at everyone right now."

  • Elisha Shaw | 2014 DT | Tucker (Ga.)
"I went over to Georgia for G-Day last weekend and it was a real good visit. I got to meet with Coach Wilson, the defensive line coach and that was cool. My top three schools are Georgia, Alabama, and Florida State. I will be visiting Alabama next weekend. I think I will probably choose my school at the Army All-American game."

  • Andrew Williams | 2014 DE | Eagles Landing Christian Academy (Ga.)
"I will be coming out with a top 10 next week and I am still working on the list. I know for sure Clemson, Notre Dame, and Georgia will be on there. I am not sure on the rest yet. I will get it down to five schools after spring practice and then commit in the summer. I know I will be making a summer decision."

  • Antwuan Jackson | 2016 DT | Cedar Grove (Ga.)
"Auburn is my most recent offer and Clemson and South Carolina have offered too. I like Auburn and Clemson, but South Carolina is probably my favorite right now. I like their defense, I know the most about them, and I like their coaches. I will be patient and see other schools and see who else offers me."

  • Gerald Willis | 2014 DE | Edna Karr (La.)
"I have been talked to Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M coaches about once a week for a while and they are my top three schools right now. I like how all of them need defensive ends. I will be committing to a school at the Under Armour All-America game."

  • Shaun Hamilton | 2014 LB | Carver (Ala.)
"I visited Alabama and Auburn this week and those two schools and Tennessee are my final three. I have not made up my mind yet, but I will be announcing my decision at a press conference on Wednesday at my school. I will be ready."

  • Stephen Roberts | 2014 CB | Opelika (Ala.)
"Alabama ia my leader, but Auburn is right behind them. Alabama slightly leads over Auburn. I will be in Tuscaloosa for the Crimson Tide's spring game on April 20. I am looking to visit Kentucky too. They have offered. I plan on making a commitment over the summer."
