Taylor Excited About Visit To MSU

One of the top prospects in Ohio for the 2015 recruiting class is excited about his trip to Michigan State for the annual Green-White game.

Last fall Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller enjoyed great success winning a state championship. Future Michigan State Spartan, Shane Jones was a key reason the Crusaders enjoyed such a great season and sophomore defensive tackle Elijah Taylor showed during the stretch run he was a prospect to be reckoned with.

Saturday, Taylor will visit the Spartans and is excited to learn more.

"I'm going up to Michigan State for their spring game with my mom and uncle," Taylor told SpartanDigest.com. "I've talked with Coach (Harlon) Barnett three or four times and we've talked about how things are going for both Moeller and Michigan State.

"He also talked with me about the visits I made during the spring to other colleges like Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Kentucky and Louisville."

At 6-foot-3, 275-pounds, Taylor has seen those before him head off to East Lansing and expressed high interest in the Spartans to Spartan Digest.

"I'm pretty interested in Michigan State," said Taylor. "Coming up they were one of the first schools that talked with me and I've heard a few things about them.

"It would be exciting and great to earn an offer from Michigan State."

SpartanDigest.com will be checking back with Taylor following his visit with the Spartans.
