During the 2012 season at La Verne (Calif.) Damien, Pucci threw for over almost 1500 yards, averaging about 166 passing yards per game with 15 passing touchdowns on the season.
Now, with the transition to a new school in Rancho Cucamonga, Pucci is looking to make this upcoming season even more successful.
"I just entered a new school so getting a connection with my receivers" said Pucci. "It has been great so far."
Even with the transition to a new school, Pucci has set himself up for a busy summer.
"I'll probably go to the Nike Camp, the Elite 11 camp, maybe go to Colorado State for an unofficial, Oregon State and possibly Washington State as well." said Pucci. "I went to the Oregon State camp last year and had a really good performance, so they have been showing interest."
The interest has not stopped there; several other schools are now in contact with Pucci and the Cougar quarterback has a frontrunner in mind.
"Almost all the ivy league schools are talking to me as well as Northern Arizona and San Diego State a little bit." said Pucci. "But I really am interested in Boise State and would like too get serious with them because they fit my style of play perfect. I got invited to their camp so I am most likely going to go to that."
In the meantime, Pucci is focused on becoming a leader for his new team.
"I really want to lead by my actions not so much my words, just motivate everyone and get everyone to work hard. Especially in the offseason right now, getting everyone in the weight room and getting big." said Pucci.
