Five-star RB picks UGA

Five-star running back Sony Michel announced Friday afternoon that he plans to football for the University of Georgia. The Dawgs beat Florida, Florida State, Miami, and Notre Dame among others for one of the most sought after prospects in the country…

"I will be going to college at the University of Georgia.", Sony Michel said. Michel is a 5-foot-11, 210 pound running back out of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage and he had offers from schools coast to coast before committed to Georgia on Friday.

He has been fond of the Dawgs since the first time he visited Athens.

"Georgia is different. The coaches really care about their players and that is easy for me to see. I love the fans there and Georgia is just a good place. It has been high on my list since I first visited there."

Michel is the No. 2 running back in the country and the No. 10 overall prospect in the country. He is the top prospect in the state of Florida.
