Long list of schools come see Hall

There are often snowball effects in recruiting when it comes to picking up the first offer and many follow. Last week Jason Hall picked up his first offer and today a long list of schools stopped by to see him.

Jason Hall from Grand Prairie (Texas) South is a 6-foot-3 and 193-pound defensive back. Hall picked up his first offer last week. Hall was happy to get an offer from any team, but was very excited the school that did offer has a reputation for producing professional defensive backs.

"Last week Nebraska offered me," Hall said. "I was ecstatic when they offered. As a defensive back it's an important offer to pick up because Nebraska is known to produce defensive backs that go to the pros. That is a big plus for them for me."

While Nebraska was first there was little doubt that more offers were going to find their way into Hall's hands. He said in a previous update that there were three schools that seemed the closest to offering. Today he had a lot more than three schools at his high school to see him.

"Today Arkansas State, TCU, San Diego State, Ole Miss, Kansas and Tulsa all came to see me. We started up our spring practices again today after stopping last week for testing."

Hall says that he doesn't have any weaknesses when it comes to his game. He also says that he's capable of playing any position in the defensive secondary which adds to his value as a recruit.

"I am really an all-around cover guy from playing cornerback to playing safety to playing the dime or nickel spot. I don't really have a weakness. I could play every spot in the second and I have good size to go along with my cover skills."
