Logan Cheadle has seen a spark in school interest in the last few weeks.
And there have also been a few schools that have just come by his school to let him know they're interested.
So why are so many schools interested in Cheadle? What are his strengths on the field?
"I would say my quickness out of breaks (is my strength). My aggressiveness and also that I'm a coverage corner in general. Also my speed and explosiveness and my ball skills are strengths," he continued.
Cheadle has already run a 4.4 forty, showing excellent speed. But he's also focusing on getting stronger so he can help out more in the run game.
"I've been in the weight room so I can get bigger and make more plays in the running game. I really want to focus on getting bigger and being able to shed blocks," he continued.
That mentality will suit him well where ever he goes, but he also likes the hard-nosed mentality at Iowa State and Paul Rhoads's program.
"When I went to Iowa State, I was very impressed with their facilities. They are brand new and state of the art," he said. "Coach Rhoads comes from a defensive back background. And Coach Douglas is real cool. He's somebody I could learn a lot from. Their mentality is they work hard for everything they have."
At this point, Cheadle has a group of schools that he likes more than the others.
"Right now my top three are Iowa State, Nebraska and Missouri," he said.
Cheadle plans to commit in early June if possible.
