Dungey Has Camp Plans

Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge 2015 quarterback Eric Dungey plans to throw quite a bit this spring, in hopes of getting on to college coaches' radars early.

The 6-4, 185-pounder has had interest from Duke, BYU, Oregon State and Washington State, and all plan to come by this spring.

"Oregon State invited me to their camp and then I'm going to go back East to the Duke camp," said Dungey. "That will be my first time at Duke."

Last fall, Dungey attended the Oregon State-Washington State game as a recruit, and hopes to hit a few more this fall.

"I'm interested in anyone basically, but I really like the ACC and the Pac-12," said Dungey.

And the two home state schools have his attention.

"Oregon is a little more faster pace, while Oregon State is a little more stationary, but both have great offenses," said Dungey.

Dungey doesn't plan a quick process for when those offers roll in.

"Right now, I'm just trying to get some schools and I'll make my decision later down the road," said Dungey.

Academically, he has a 3.7 cumulative and will take the SAT and ACT next year as a junior.

Brandon is in his ninth year with Scout.com and FOXSportsNext, currently as a National Recruiting Analyst and West Regional Manager. Prior to joining the Scout Recruiting Team, he was a team recruiting writer.  He's been covering recruiting for the Scout Network since 2003.
