Duckworth Commits To Ohio University

Joey Duckworth is one of the top 2014 quarterback prospects in Ohio, and the Louisville signal-caller committed to Ohio University Saturday.

Louisville (OH) quarterback Joey Duckworth has been impressive since taking over the starting job midway through his sophomore season.

Duckworth, 6-foot-3, 215-pounds, has been receiving a lot of recruiting attention, and landed seven offers. He ended his recruitment Saturday.

"I have committed to Ohio University," Duckworth told FOXSportsNEXT. "I loved everything about the school, especially their coaching staff. The university is awesome. A lot of other quarterbacks have been committing lately, and I liked OU, so I made the decision. I'm very excited about my choice."

In addition to Ohio University, Duckworth held offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Kent State, Toledo and Western Michigan.
