Evaluation Period Kind To Taylor

Columbus Bishop Ready offensive tackle Brady Taylor was a relative unknown in recruiting circles a few months ago, but he has hit the radar recently in a big way. Taylor now holds 13 offers, and more could be headed his way.

If there is such a thing as recruiting momentum it is certainly favoring Brady Taylor right now. The Columbus Bishop Ready offensive tackle has gone from unknown to hot prospect in a few months.

Taylor, 6-foot-5, 275-pounds, currently holds double-digit offers and has received several visitors during the spring evaluation period.

"My latest offers are Illinois, Indiana, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and South Florida," Taylor stated. "I now have 13 offers in total. Virginia Tech was in the school last week and they're supposed to offer this week when the head coach calls me."

"In the past week, I've had coaches from West Virginia, Wake Forest, Penn State and Maryland in the school and showing a lot of interest," he added. "I would definitely be highly interested in all of those schools should they decide to offer me."

A late May decision is planned for Taylor to make his college choice, but that is not etched in stone.

"I'm hoping to be able to decide before the end of May, but I have to see what offers I have at that time," he stressed. "It depends on what schools come in to see me, and I might be going to camp at schools like Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and so forth, depending on how much interest they show."
