Two stand out for Jordan Washington

Fontana (Calif.) Summit wide out Erik Brown has gotten all the headlines this spring but fellow receiver Jordan Washington is another Div I prospect on the team.

Jordan Washington is a player that really impresses on film. He catches the ball well with his hands, runs good routes and makes plays down the field. He runs pretty well after the catch, knows how to get open and should have a big senior season.

On the recruiting front, Idaho has offered Washington and the receiver said a few other programs are on him as well.

"Colorado and NAU have talked to me," Washington said. "We've also had a lot of colleges come by our school. Washington, Arizona, Fresno State and USC have all visited as well and I'm sure we'll have several more the rest of spring ball.

"Right now, my two favorites are Miami and BYU. I've always liked Miami and would love to hear more from them. With BYU, I visited to watch Jamaal Williams (former teammate) play and I really liked it there. Everyone was so nice and friendly and treated me like I was already part of the family."

Washington plans to camp with BYU and possibly a few others.

"BYU has their camp in June and I'll be there for sure," Washington said. "Hopefully I'll do well and they'll give me a strong look. I'm planning to do a few others but I'm not sure where right now. If I get the right offer, I'll definitely make an early decision. If not, I'll go through the process a little more."
