Hall chooses the Huskers!

The Nebraska staff was the first to offer Grand Prairie (Texas) defensive back Jason Hall two weeks ago. The Huskers picked up a commitment from the talented CB earlier this evening.

Nebraska loves their big, cover cornerbacks and Jason Hall from Grand Prairie (Texas) South has decided to commit to the Huskers earlier today. The 6-foot-2 and 192-pound Hall projects to play cornerback for the Huskers.

"It's really because how interested they have been in me," Hall said. "They have come here and they love my coverage skills, they like the way that I play the game and they love my film. They like the fact that I can play either cornerback or safety in college."

Hall committed to Nebraska sight unseen. He has built such a strong bond with the coaches that have been recruiting him though that the decision just felt right. He looks forward to meeting the rest of the staff in Lincoln next month.

"I plan on visiting Lincoln next month. I am going to go up to Nebraska for their Big Red Weekend which is a Saturday. I have never been there before so I want to see as much as I can. I want to get to meet some of the players and also meet the rest of the staff."

The big question now becomes is Hall done with recruiting? There seems to be some question if he might think about taking some trips to make sure he made the right decision in choosing Nebraska.

"I know that now that I am committed to Nebraska that there are going to be a lot of teams in my ear talking to me. I don't know of any schools I would visit since I am committed to Nebraska, but I might take some other trips."

Hall becomes the second known verbal in the 2014 class joining Luke Gifford.
