Fort Scott OT Kareem Are - Are is a talented kid with a 6'6", 310 pound frame and a long wingspan. He held the best the Jayhawk conference had to throw at him at bay last season and earned All-Conference and All-Region honors last fall. Are recently received his first offer, from Florida State, and he's got quite a few other schools flocking to see him work out this spring. He's definitely a prospect who is rising up recruiting lists and someone to keep an eye on in the coming weeks and months.
College of San Mateo OT Dominick Jackson - FoxSportsNext's Brandon Huffman reported today that Jackson received offers from Tennessee and Texas Tech. Those schools join Arizona State, Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Texas A&M, UCLA and Washington as schools that have offered the talented lineman and more schools could be close to offering as well. Jackson can play on either side and his athleticism is top-notch.
College of San Francisco LB Nick Holt Jr. - Holt was a walk-on at Washington before transferring to Montana when his father, Nick Holt Sr., was let go by the Huskies following the 2011 football season. He left Montana shortly after the completion of their season, hoping to find opportunities at a higher level and recently received offers from Fresno State and Western Kentucky after those two schools watched him work out with the Rams this spring.
Georgia Military RB Akeem Judd - Judd got only 71 carries as a freshman last fall, but still managed to total 465 yards and five touchdowns for GMC. He's received offers from Arizona State, Cincinnati, Louisville, Marshall and Ole Miss and he should see more roll in as more and more schools drop by to watch the Bulldogs work out.
Ventura QB Jordan Gehrke - Gehrke had a solid freshman season at Scottsdale last season, throwing for 2,388 yards, 22 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He's got an early offer from Weber State and has recently seen increased interest from Colorado who has requested film and transcripts for the talented signal-caller. With the amount of yards he's got the potential to throw for this season for a good Ventura squad he should see more offers start to roll in.
L.A. Pierce CB Tyree Stone-Davis - Stone-Davis could play corner or safety at the next level and he recently received an offer from San Diego State. He has also been talking to Illinois who has told him that he is the top corner prospect on their list. Keep an eye on this one as the weeks and months roll along.
Itawamba DE Cameron Wiggins - Wiggins has seen his stock rise this spring as team's have gotten a chance to watch him work out and he's been able to display his outstanding quickness and athleticism. He recently received an offer from Southern Miss and schools from the ACC and SEC have all dropped by to see what he can do.
Mesa DT Claude Pelon - Another name emerging as a big-time DT prospect is Pelon who told FoxSportsNext's Jason Jewell he's now up to six offers with full-rides coming in from USC, Washington, Baylor, Indiana, Florida State and South Florida and he's getting quite a bit of attention from the two in-state Pac 12 programs as well.
College of DuPage DT Mason Fuller - Fuller had a solid freshman season for the Chapparals, posting 20 tackles and two sacks from his defensive tackle spot and he's seen schools from the MAC, Conference USA and Big Ten drop by this spring as well.
Highland LB Marlon Williams - Williams had a solid freshman season for the Scotties in 2012, posting 46 tackles, four tackles-for-loss and one interception. He's started to see interest from schools in the MAC, Conference USA and the Sun Belt, but none have offered to this point.
