Is St. Petersburg (Fla.) Admiral Farragut standout Napoleon Maxwell a linebacker or safety?

Napoleon Maxwell (St. Petersburg, Fla./Admiral Farragut) is a talented football player but in recruiting terms he's what we can a tweener. At 6-foot-0 and 205-pounds, he could be a safety or linebacker and just needs to find the right fit.

"Right now he's too small for linebacker and too big for safety," said Buster Davis, his new coach. "But I think he can be a safety in college. I would like to see him down to 195-pounds. This kid is a really good player and he has the football savvy. He's smart out there. I love his build and he's smooth."

In fact Davis believe Maxwell can even play cornerback for them this season and transition to safety in college. Maxwell received an early scholarship offer from UMass and now is getting interest from schools like Marshall.

Maxwell will camp this summer at Florida State and Georgia for sure and could attend a few others.
