Tennessee offers Cali 2015 QB

Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco sophomore quarterback Josh Rosen landed his third scholarship offer on Wednesday and first from outside the west region.

Josh Rosen had a great spring throwing the football for the Snoop Dogg All-Stars and is one of the elite quarterbacks in the loaded West Coast 2015 class. He consistently showed off a live, accurate arm, the ability to change speeds and throw with the touch and great poise in the pocket as well.

On the recruiting front, Fresno State and Oregon State were the first schools to offer Rosen and No. 3 came from the SEC on Wednesday.

"I got an offer from Tennessee," Rosen said. "They came to my school Wednesday and I definitely have interest in them. It's a big offer and I'm excited to learn more about their program. We've had a lot of schools come by this week including Alabama, Oregon State, Florida State, Army and a few others.

"Next Thursday, we're having a College Day after practice where we do a big BBQ and about 40 colleges are supposed to drop by. Hopefully things continue to pick up and a few more offers will come in for me this spring."

Rosen said he plans to camp with California, Stanford and UCLA this summer and will attend the Elite 11 Regional Camp in Oakland next weekend. Rosen said the three Pac 12 programs currently stand out but he's still open to everyone and not close to making any kind of decision.
