Wangler Completes PSU Daily Double

Michigan three-star linebacker was the second player to commit to the Nittany Lions Friday. He did so while on an unofficial visit to campus.

Penn State picked up commitment No. 9 for its Class of 2014 not long after notching commitment No. 8.

Friday afternoon, linebacker Jared Wangler of De La Salle High in Warren, Mich., committed to the Nittany Lions while on an unofficial visit to campus.

Wangler is a 6-foot-1, 215-pound former safety who will likely play Will linebacker in college. He is a three-star prospect as rated by FOX Sports NEXT.

He is the second linebacker in the class, joining Delaware standout Troy Reeder.
