Massillon Lineman Holds One Offer

Massillon will be one of Ohio's strongest teams this season, and the offensive line should be the strength of the team. Chase Lash is a three-year starter at offensive tackle, and will anchor that unit.

Chase Lash is one of Ohio's more underrated 2014 offensive linemen, and the Massillon product is attracting recruiting attention.

Lash, 6-foot-4, 285-pounds, plays tackle for the Tigers, although he could move inside at the next level.

"I have one offer right now, from Akron," Lash stated. "I think a lot of the school and I have visited before. Several other schools have been in the building recently and are showing interest."

"Indiana, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Indiana, Illinois and West Virginia are all showing interest," he stated. "I visited West Virginia and loved it there. They are telling me to be patient about being offered. I will probably go to camp and work out for the coaches."

"I want to visit Michigan State soon, and they also keep telling me to be patient," he continued. "I like Coach (Pat) Narduzzi a lot and love the Michigan State program."

Lash has shown the ability to play physical football, and he is a leader for Massillon in the weight room.

"I'm just a guy that works hard and gives 100% all the time," Lash said. "I want to play at the next level and help my team win a lot of games."
