Green Makes Big 12 Commit

The Cedar Hill defensive product will take his talents north of the Red River...

Marcus Green, a 6-foot-1, 170-pound cornerback from Cedar Hill (Texas) High informed that he has made his decision on Mother's Day.

"I committed to Oklahoma," Green informed via a text message.

He committed to OU over offers form schools like Nebraska, Ole Miss, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas Tech, and Houston among others.

"I just know they have a good tradition and a good reputation of putting guys in to the league," Green said of the Sooners' program at the time it offered.

Green is currently nationally rated as the No. 34 cornerback prospect nationally.
