First Offer For Ohio QB

Hudson quarterback Mitch Guadagni is one of Ohio's top 2015 prospects, and the Hudson athlete recently landed his first scholarship offer. Buffalo became the first school to offer, but several others are showing interest.

Mitch Guadagni impressed last season as a sophomore starter at quarterback for Hudson, and has marked himself as a prospect to watch in Ohio for the class of 2015.

Guadagni, 6-foot-2, 175-pounds, is seeing recruiting interest rise and several schools are in touch. Buffalo became the first to offer last week.

"Buffalo offered last week and I'm really excited about it," Guadagni stated. "My head coach told me to call the offensive coordinator at Buffalo, Alex Wood, and he told me they wanted to be the first to offer me a scholarship."

"They were in the school to see me in person and liked my highlight film," he added. "It's both relief and happiness, and I will use that as motivation to work even harder."

"Penn State was also in the school recently," he added. "I really like the school and the tradition is amazing. I've grown up watching the Big Ten, and think a lot of Penn State. The combination of athletics and academics makes them a school I'm highly interested in. Earlier, Michigan, Ohio State and Duke showed interest."

As a sophomore last year, Guadagni threw for over 2,000 yards with a touchdown/interception ratio of 26 and 6. He also rushed for nearly 500 yards.
