Arkansas Joins Chase For Brown

Arkansas is the latest team to join the fray for Houston (Texas) Alief Taylor wide receiver Kennen Brown (6-3, 195, 4.5), who plans to make a visit to see Fayetteville this summer.

Add Arkansas to the list of suitors chasing big-time Houston (Texas) Alief Taylor four-star wide receiver Keenen Brown.

Brown (6-3, 185, 4.5) was offered by the Razorbacks on Monday afternoon as they became the 14th team to put down an offer for the talented wideout.

"My coach just told me about Arkansas' offer about two minutes ago and I am really happy about it," Brown said. "That's a big-time school that has had success, is in the SEC and has a great new coaching staff."

Brown,'s 26th-best wide receiver in the country in the 2014 class, caught 45 passes for 729 yards and 12 touchdowns last season as a junior.

He got offers from SMU and Indiana after his sophomore season and has since been given ones by Oklahoma, LSU, Florida, Missouri, Wake Forest, Ole Miss, Colorado, Houston, Utah, Michigan State, West Virginia and Arkansas.

"It's been very exciting to get all of the offers and this Arkansas one is just another to be very honored about," Brown said. "I'm really wide open right now and I just want to take some visits and see some of this places to see which one is the best one for me."

Brown has visited SMU and LSU unofficially so far and has plans to see Oklahoma, Florida and Florida this summer.

"Those are the schools that I really want to try and get to see this summer," Brown said.

Brown burst on the scene his sophomore season when he averaged over 20 yards per reception while catching 17 passes for 344 yards and five touchdowns.

"I think I can go get the ball anywhere it is thrown and I think I can make things happen when I do," Brown said. "I just want to improve my speed and get stronger this summer."
