Ragnow Learning Fast

Chanhassen (Minn.) junior offensive tackle Frank Ragnow has been perfecting his craft at camps and all the while, offers continue to come in.

Chanhassen High's Frank Ragnow came to the Adidas Invitational in March admitting he had never done a one on one. Now having been to a couple of other events, he has learned quickly and is fully ready for June, an important camp month.

"I'm definitely getting way more comfortable with one on ones," he explained, "and it especially helps talking with these coaches at the camps who definitely know what they're doing, so I've received alot of good information that I've tried to better myself with."

The 6'5, 280-pound offensive lineman is now up to nine offers with two coming recently from the Big Ten.

"The offers from Indiana and Illinois are both very exciting offers especially after I've been able to talk with the coaches at both programs. I really like Coach Frey and Coach Ricker. They are both good coaches and I'm excited to see both schools."

Additional offers on his list are Minnesota, Florida State, USF, Vanderbilt, Pittsburgh, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, and the most recent offer, the Golden Bears of California.

"I will definitely visit Cal," Ragnow says. "They've been telling me they were going to offer for like a month, so it wasn't much of a surprise but I'm pretty pumped about it. Coach Yenser is really cool and Cal has such good academics."

With his size and ability, Ragnow played both sides of the ball as a junior and while most see him on offense, there are a couple who would like to look at him on defense as well.

"Northwestern and Washington have talked to me about defense."

Additional schools interested include Ohio State, Michigan State, Tennessee, Wisconsin and more.
