Muehlheausler's Interest at Vianney

Coaches can now find offensive tackle Justin Muehlheausler at St. John Vianney High...

Justin Muehlheausler, a 6-foot-5, 260-pounder is an impressive looking physical specimen. He can add some size to his frame, but has the length that coaches will love and passes the eyeball test in that regard.

After playing at Lindbergh in 2012 he will be suiting up for St. John Vianney (Mo.) High in 2013.

"Right now my quickness as an offensive linemen," Muehlheausler confirmed of his strengths on the field. "I feel like I am one of the faster tackles and I try to get out there and push people around."

On the recruiting front, Muehlheausler has a few different schools showing interest in his skills.

"I have a lot of schools that are showing interest. I would say that Indiana is my top choice right now. I have Iowa, Illinois, Kansas State, Kansas, and just a lot of schools that came through in the last few weeks."

It was a trip to Bloomington, Ind., which helped set the Hoosiers apart from the rest.

"When I went down there they kept it real personal with me. I was out there with their head coach (Kevin Wilson) for about 45 minutes just talking with him and getting to know him."

It's a big honor for him to have all of the attention, but he is still hungry for his shot to play on the D1 level.

"It means a lot to get all of the interest," Muehlheausler relayed. "I am just trying to get my name out there, but I think it is going to be a big year for me."

Muehlheausler will "definitely" attend summer camps at Indiana and Iowa and then "whatever falls in line after that".
