6-foot, 175 pound junior Phillipie Motley has picked up offers from Ball State, Central Michigan and Ohio over the past couple of months. The Hilliard Davidson (OH) cornerback recently added his fourth school to his list.
"Bowling Green offered me," said Motley. "Coach (Adam) Scheier was the one to offer. He said that after he talked to me at my school on Tuesday, he went back and talked to their DB coach and Head Coach. They knew I had the athleticism, character and academics so they decided to offer me."
Motley has been on campus before and was able to get a feel for the program.
"When I visited there, their defensive back coach reminded me of my high school coach. They coach the same way as us, so it made me think I could be comfortable with their coaching style."
So, where does Bowling Green rank compared to the junior's other offers?
"They're in my top three."
