Myers Offered

FOX Sports NEXT caught up with Sachse quarterback Kent Myers from Texas after getting some good news in Thursday night.

It was the day he has been expecting for some time.

Now Sachse (TX) quarterback Kent Myers got the news that he wanted to hear.

"Just got offered by Air Force. Yes sir, this is my first offer," Myers informed FOX Sports NEXT.

Now the the 6-foot-.5, 180-pound Myers will look to convert some of the other programs showing interest into offers. That list includes LSU, TCU, Purdue and Arizona State

Myers said that a number of schools are still evaluating him and watching his film. But still getting No. 1 is, well No. 1.

"This feels good, a sign of relief, but best believe that I am not done yet," Myers said. "I am blessed."

Last season Myers had 2,800 passing yards and 1,200 rushing yards. Most programs are recruiting him as an athlete.

Ahmard Vital is responsible for Midlands Recruiting, mainly covering prospects in the state of Texas. He joined in 2005 and is the author of the newly released book, Awaken the Baller Within.
