Three-star CB Terrence Alexander - headed to The Opening later this summer - added a new offer Friday. Get the latest on Alexander and many more Louisiana prospects inside...

O.P. Walker, East Saint John and L.B. Landry hooked up Friday in a three-way scrimmage. East Saint John 2015 CB Xavier Lewis (Tulane offer) made plays at QB and WR for head coach Phil Banko, including a 10-yard TD reception.

A week ago, Parkview Baptist, East Ascension, Ponchatoula and Live Oak all competed in a Baton Rouge scrimmage. Spearheaded by three-star RB Sione Palelei's four TDs, East Ascension throttled its three opponents by a combined tally of 74-7.

Class 5A Zachary met U-High last weekend. It was the first taste of varsity competition for U-High 2017 RB/LB Dylan Moses, who holds several BCS offers. The Cubs move up to 3A this fall.

Defending 4A state champ Karr collided with 5A Brother Martin earlier this week. Karr four-star WR Devante Noil, who has manned the QB spot for most of his prep career, ran for two lengthy touchdowns and tossed a 15-yard scoring strike, according to nola.com.

Kentucky stepped into the ring with offers to coveted CBs Terrence Alexander (John Curtis) and Henre' Toliver (Archbishop Rummel). Oklahoma, Arizona State and Mississippi State all recently offered the 6-1 Toliver, as did the Ragin' Cajuns.

Houston and Georgia Tech officially got into the hunt for the fleet-footed Palelei, who might visit Wisconsin in June. Houston also offered East Jefferson RB Ronald Green. Tech has a nice shot at Toliver, who has visited the Yellow Jackets in the past.

Western Kentucky recruiter Ricky Brumfield, a Shaw product, offered Eagles QB Quentin Gibson. That was the first offer for Gibson, who impressed at two Elite 11 events this year. South Alabama also offered the 6-2, 200-pounder.

Evangel Christian WR Jared Cornelius, a 6-2, 190-pounder (2014), owns offers from Arkansas, Houston, Tulsa and San Diego State. Evangel 2015 offensive lineman Jerry Tillery has offers from San Diego State, Arkansas and Oregon State.

Air Force offered Rummel 2014 WR Steven Dunbar.

Louisiana Tech offered Rummel 2016 CB Kristian Fulton.

Grambling State offered Westlake WR Tyler Johnson, Central WR Gary Triplett, Hahnville OL Hunter Perrin and Karr DB Bryan Anderson.

McNeese State and Southern offered Neville LB Ashari Goins.

Livonia WR/DB Darius Hammond reported a Southeastern Louisiana offer.

Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Georgia offered Calvary Baptist 2015 DT T.D. Moton.

LSU and Oklahoma offered Warren Easton 2015 WR Tyron Johnson.

Alabama accepted the commitment of Airline 2014 defensive tackle O.J. Smith, a phenomenal natural athlete who moves faster at 330 pounds than should be allowed by law.

The Cajuns corralled a verbal from Riverdale WR Lorenzo Cryer. Riverdale has quietly improved in recent years, following a long period of what seemed to be perpetual rebuilding at the Jefferson Parish school.

Patterson WR Mykel Jones (2016) plans to set foot on the following campuses next month: Tennessee, Florida State, Alabama and LSU. He has four offers already under his belt.

LSU hosted a group of prospects at this year's summer recruiting picnic (held today). Four-star TE Jacory Washington, the LSU pledge from Westlake, was in attendance. During an interview earlier this week, Washington mentioned that the LSU staff wants him to play an integral role in the recruitment of Harris, who was tabbed a U.S. Army All-American.
