Ten Offers For Hall

Several Ohio prospects hit the recruiting radar in a big way last year as sophomores, and Austintown Fitch's Darrin Hall is one of the more impressive. The speedy tailback has now attracted ten offers.

Austintown Fitch tailback Darrin Hall made quite an impression last season as a sophomore, even though he split carries with two other runningbacks.

Hall, 6-foot, 200-pounds, is a top 2015 prospect in Ohio, and he features an exciting combination of size and speed at the tailback position. College recruiters have noticed, and he now holds ten offers.

"My latest offer would be from Michigan State, and that was a big one for me," Hall stated. "Some of my other new ones would be Louisville, Purdue, Cincinnati and Florida Atlantic. I was offered before by Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Toledo and Nebraska."

"Getting the Michigan State offer was huge and they came to my school to see me recently," he added. "They are one of my favorites, because I really like Leveon Bell, and I'm trying to schedule a visit there soon."

"Purdue offered lately, but I've never really spoken to them at all," he continued. "They're a great academic school and I'm interested. My family is close with Coach (Vince) Marrow at Kentucky, and I will be going there at some point. I will be taking some visits this summer, but I won't be working out at any camps at all. I just want to go meet coaches and look at the facilities."

There are other top programs Hall is interested in, even though they have not offered at this time.

"I want to visit Virginia Tech, and I'm getting to know that coaching staff," he explained. "They have been to my school, and I want to go see what they're all about. Ohio State is a place I've been to before, and I'm interested. They said just because they haven't offered doesn't mean they're not interested, and they like me a lot."

"Cincinnati is close to home and they are recruiting me hard, so I might go check them out for sure," he stressed. "Another big one for me would be Tennessee, and I'm very interested in them. They had me watch videos of their facility and I definitely want to visit Tennessee."

Hall also runs track for Fitch, and he will be competing this week in the Ohio regional meet. He runs the 200-meter, the 4X200 relay and 4X400 relay.
