Michigan State fans have seen a couple of players over the years have success wearing the Green & White from Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne. Could Tyree Kinnel be the next player from the Southwest Ohio program to find his way to East Lansing? We get the latest.

They still talk about former Michigan State defensive tackle Jerel Worthy at Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne High School.

The former Spartans defensive standout left a lasting impression at his old high school and the Spartans are hoping it can pay big dividens with another of Wayne's top performers in Tyree Kinnel.

"I've got a little bit of interest in Michigan State," said Kinnell. "Coach (Harlon) Barnett came down to school in the spring and we've talked on the phone a couple of times. He really wants to get me on campus for camp and I'm planning on being there on June 16th."

One thing it sounds like Barnett is doing a good job with is reminding Kinnell the success Worthy enjoyed during his college career.
