Florida Safety Talks Missouri

The Missouri Tigers offer parade throughout the Sunshine State continues as ShowMeMizzou.com talks with another Florida prospect who has received a Mizzou offer, and tells us the details of it and his recruitment.

The Missouri Tigers have extended a scholarship offer to 2014 CB prospect Quincy Wilson  6’2”  195  Fort Lauderdale (FL) University School of Nova South.   Recently, Wilson took time to speak with ShowMeMizzou.com, and he talked about his Missouri offer, as well as his recruitment.

“Missouri offered me,”  said Wilson.   “It felt great!   It’s another opportunity to learn something new about a college and see if that would be a fit for me.”

Wilson reports currently holding “ 48 offers”, including offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, South Florida, Tennessee, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wake Forest, Washington State, West Virginia, and Western Kentucky, among many others, in addition to Missouri.

He doesn’t know a lot about Missouri.

“Missouri’s kind of came late into the picture,”   explained Wilson, who said everyone is recruiting him to play corner.   “But, I’ll figure something out.”

Wilson reported a personal best of 4.47 in the forty-yard dash, along with a 36” vertical jump, a 4.19 shuttle, and 13 reps at 225 pounds in the bench press.

Wilson has already visited Auburn, Ohio State, Florida, and Florida State.   He’s planning visits to Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, South Carolina, USC, and UCLA.

Wilson doesn't have current plans to visit Missouri.

“Not as yet,”   said Wilson.   “But, I’ll see if I can fit that in this summer.”

Wilson plans to take in-season official visits and make his decision following the season.
