Mentor (OH) junior Conner Krizancic committed to Cincinnati at the end of May. At the beginning of June, the wide receiver picked up his first Big Ten offer.
"Minnesota offered me," said Krizancic Monday afternoon. "They called my head coach during our workouts. They will be contacting me later."
The wide receiver says that even though he made his commitment, the new offer wasn't exactly unexpected.
"I've been waiting on them to offer me for a while so it wasn't really that big of a surprise. They have a great program and a bright future."
The junior hasn't visited before, but says he "most likely won't." However, he does plan on staying in contact with the Golden Gophers.
"I'm definitely proud to get a Big Ten offer. It's nice to get one from a big time school. I'm a little interested in them, but I don't think it will change things with Cincinnati."
Krizancic adds that there are still more schools talking to him.
"Temple has been contacting me lately. Indian is still in the mix. And Illinois is still interested too."
