Norton Adds Another

Class of 2015 offensive and defensive lineman Kendrick Norton of Jacksonville (FL) Trinity Chrisitian picked up another SEC offer yesterday.

Jacksonville (FL) Trinity Christian Class of 2015 prospect Kendrick Norton continues to enjoy a spring and summer filled with scholarship offers. Last week the 6-foot-3 and 283-pound two-way lineman picked up offers from Florida, FSU and South Carolina. The versatile offensive guard and defensive tackle can now add another SEC school to his list of offers. Tennessee has now offered Norton according to Trinity Christian assistant coach Jerrod Ross.

Tennessee was on hand this past May to watch Norton in action at his spring game. The tough, physical lineman seems at home on both sides of the ball. On offense he comes off low and hard and blocks through the whistle. He also has outstanding feet as an offensive lineman and plays with an attitude. On defense he plays with the same attitude and is constantly forcing a new line of scrimmage. Norton has also proven himself to be very difficult to be single-blocked.

The rising junior already had offers from Auburn, Boston College, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Penn State, UAB, UMass and Vanderbilt coming out of spring practice

Norton started at offensive guard and rotated in on defense last year as a sophomore. On defense he registered 16 tackles, 5 tackles for loss and 4 sacks.
