Tallahassee (FL) Florida High School offensive tackle prospect Garrett McGhin has picked up an additional four offers since school ended for the summer break. McGhin left spring drills with offers from East Carolina, Florida Atlantic and Middle Tennessee. The 6-foot-5 and 260-pound lineman now has offers from Florida A&M, South Alabama, UAB and Valdosta State. In addition to those offers both Florida International and South Florida are actively recruiting McGhin.

The athletic McGhin who has played both tight end and offensive line in high school has been busy this summer having already camped at four different colleges.

"I have camped at Valdosta State, UAB, South Alabama and South Florida and I am going to go to Middle Tennessee's camp," said McGhin. "I camped at USF and it went pretty good. Coach Wells (USF offensive line coach Walt Wells) said I was really high up on their board and they were going to keep recruiting me and see what happens."

The rising senior also enjoyed his camp experience at South Alabama.

"South Alabama camp went really good," said McGhin of his visit to Mobile. "I got to do some offensive line stuff then tour the facilities. After that I got to meet with the Coach Jones (head coach Joey Jones) and then I got to meet with Coach Chase Smith the offensive line coach. They offered me after camp."

McGhin plans to attend camp at East Carolina in July as well as continuing to hit the weight room to get stronger and more explosive in an effort to help him finish blocks. He also plans to continue to work on his pass catching and route running skills as he again will play both tackle and tight end this upcoming season at Florida High.
