Denmark Has Two Offers; Busy June

Tallahassee (FL) Rickards High School wide receiver Stephen Denmark picked up two offers during the spring including one from an in-state school. The rising senior has had a busy June.

Tallahassee (FL) Rickards High School wide receiver Stephen Denmark came out of this past May's spring drills with two scholarship offers. The 6-foot-4 and 205-pound wide receiver picked up his first offer from Western Kentucky in early May and shortly after that he received an offer from UCF.

"It felt good to get the UCF offer. They are close to home and it's Division 1 (FBS) school," said Denmark of his first in-state offer.

The tall pass catcher has had a busy June hitting several camps already this summer.

"I have attended four camps in June," said Denmark. "I went to East Carolina, USF, UAB and Georgia State. The camp at ECU went well. I was one of the top wide receivers there. The coaches liked the way I come off the ball and get off the line of scrimmage. They said they will get back with me later this summer. I also camped at UAB and they said I did great and that they are going to be recruiting me in the fall."

Denmark is also receiving attention from another in-state school, South Florida, and recently camped their too.

"The USF camp went great too. Coach Reaves (USF wide receiver coach David Reaves) said they were going to be back in touch and that they are going to recruit me," said Denmark of USF camp.

Denmark went on to say that USF was one of three schools including East Carolina and UCF that were recruiting him the hardest at this time.

The rising senior totaled 307 yards and 3 touchdowns on only 12 receptions as a junior. He is also a dangerous kickoff return man as well with 284 return yards on just 8 chances.
