Denmark Gets Hometown Offer

Tallahassee (FL) Rickards High School wide receiver Stephen Denmark got his third scholarship offer this past weekend. The 6-foot-4 rising senior now has the option to play college ball in his hometown.

Stephen Denmark from Tallahassee (FL) Rickards High School recently picked up his third scholarship offer over the holiday weekend. The hometown Florida A&M Rattlers have offered the 6-foot-4 wide receiver. Denmark held offers from Central Florida and Western Kentucky coming out of this past May's spring drills.

"It's a great feeling to know that you have another opportunity to play in front of your family and friends again," said Denmark of the Rattlers offer. FAMU is located about three miles from the Rickards campus.

The tall, lanky receiver has also been hearing from UMass this summer as well as South Florida. He will actually have a chance to impress the Bulls next weekend when he and his team will be taking part in South Florida's 7-on-7 passing tournament.

The Rickards deep threat has already camped at East Carolina and UAB this past June. Both the ECU and UAB are now actively recruiting Denmark after his camp performances at both schools.

The rising senior who totaled 307 yards and 3 touchdowns on only 12 receptions as a junior says that ECU, USF and UCF are recruiting him the hardest right now. Denmark is also a dangerous kickoff return man having returned eight kickoffs for 284 yards.
