Target to Skip Camp

Last month UTSA extended an offer to the Houston area WR. With several more offers in tow, he is still considering UTSA but is unable to make camp next week.

Last month, UTSA extended Crypress Ridge WR Darious Crawley an offer. Since then, he's picked up several more and has seen his stock rise. Seven schools have now offered Crawley: UTSA, Iowa St, Kansas, Rice, Texas State, Colorado State, and ULL.

"I like UTSA, but I just can't make it with my summer schedule," said Crawley.

Iowa State was the first school to offer Crawley. However, at this point, he is not close to a decision.

"I don't have any favorites right now," said Crawley. "I'm just going through the process and evaluating all of the schools."

With a summer busy full of classes to get ahead for the fall and various workouts with his high school team, Crawley wants to make time to take an unofficial to UTSA.

"The UTSA coaches are really active, I like them. I just want to make a visit to the school and visit before I would decide,' said Crawley.

At 5'11" and 185 lbs, Crawley is a bit undersized for as a Division 1 receiver, but he makes up for it with good hands, good speed, and solid route running.
