Texas 7v7: Agnew, Duhon share MVP honors

LEANDER, Texas-- Southlake Carroll's 2015 quarterback Ryan Agnew and 2014 receiver Keaton Duhon will be a fun connection to watch this fall. The two helped steer the Dragons through a loaded pool Saturday and into Sunday's championship match, where they sealed the 2013 Texas 7v7 State Title over Houston Stratford. The two weigh in on the ride and what's to come...

Ryan Agnew (6-1, 180) may have one of the most reliable receiving corps in the state at his disposal, but showed incredible accuracy and consistency in distributing the ball to his targets over the weekend. Throw in a quick release and deceptive strength and it's no surprise the Notre Dame's and Texas A&M's of the college football world are keeping a close eye. Agnew added that Texas Tech, Iowa State and Northwestern are two others showing interest.

At a solid 6-foot, 175 pounds, Keaton Duhon is quick and physical, with improved, crisper routes- to which he credits to the coaching of trainer and former Oklahoma wideout David Robinson. With this, Duhon has quickly caught the attention of Tulsa, TCU and Purdue. Having already camped with both Purdue and TCU this summer, he will visit the TCU campus Friday, July 19 for the Frogs' second major mini-camp.
