2014 Scout.com HS Football Rankings (full list):
Pos: S Pos Rank: #88 Pos Rating:
Sutton at the Texas State 7v7.

Recruiting -
BYU, Colorado, Texas State, Rice, TCU, Texas-San Antonio, Tulsa, Washington State

The Eye Ball Test -

Actually looks a bit lighter than the listed 190 pounds, but is long and wiry, so his weight could be deceptive. He definitely has the type of look about him that he can add some weight going forward, making him a candidate to possibly grow into linebacker.

Skills Breakdown -
Sutton is a prospect who has a nice offer list and some nice options already on the table and that is exactly how I would see him. He is a very talented player with overall athleticism and playmaking skills to catch the eye of some BCS programs. The question is what position do you recruit him to play. I think his future may be in the box, but he pushes the action on defense and is an aggressor, so after the weight comes that move should be fine. Mid-Major BCS should keep an eye on his tape the first couple of games this season.

7v7 Performance -
He was one of the best playmakers in the tournament, catching my eye on several occasions. On offense, he made plays and showed the jumping ability and hand eye concentration to come up with jump balls in traffic. On defense, he was a ball-hawk. Making a number of key interceptions and big plays. He was all over the field. His stock could be trending up heading in to his final year of high school and Brenham will lean on him this season.
