Valor Christian defensive back Marcus Wilson has verbally committed to Colorado State. For the third time this week the Rams have secured a commit from a talented in state player as Wilson joins Loveland athlete John Freismuth and Pomona offensive lineman Zach Stefo as part of the 2014 class.
Wilson, like Freismuth and Stefo brings versatility to the Rams as he has played corner, safety and receiver for the Rams. The 6-0 180 pound also held offers from Northern Colorado and South Dakota State. Possessing good speed, Wilson is also a strong tackler who is not afraid to play in the box.
With three commits this week, Colorado State continues to show its emphasis on in state recruiting. For Wilson, the preseason decision allows him to focus on helping Valor defend its 5A state title.
